On this website you can find information about the NWO funded research project on the Collapse of the Mammoth Steppe Ecosystem. In the period 2007-2010 scientists from different universities in Russia and the Netherlands study on the disintegraton of the Mammoth Steppe ecosystem at the level of faunal assemblages as well as at species level.

From 30th August till 4th September 2010 the 5th International Conference on Mammoths and their Relatives will be organised in France.
